Kyle Busch has never experienced such a tumultuous season in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Even when he fails to make the playoffs, suffers from a championship hangover, or lacks his usual speed, he has always managed to secure at least one victory.

The closest Busch has ever come to going winless in a Cup Series season was in 2020, when he didn't claim a win until a bizarre playoff race at Texas that ended on a Wednesday. This race was the 34th of the season, and Busch came dangerously close to breaking his streak.

Four years later, Busch now holds the record for the most consecutive seasons with at least one victory at 19. However, 2024 has thrown numerous curveballs at the two-time champion, making it seem almost normal to see him make mistakes.

At Kansas on September 29th, Busch was leading with 33 laps to go, until he crashed into the wall while trying to lap Chase Briscoe, causing his No. 8 Chevy to spin. A 19th-place finish was little consolation for a driver who has been through a lot this season.

With only six races left in the season, here are the top three tracks where Busch, 39, has the best chance to secure his first win since June 2023.

Talladega (October 6th)

The next race in the Cup Series may just be the one where Busch is most likely to claim a victory. He won at this track in April of 2023, and while superspeedway racing is unpredictable, Busch has been extremely fast on these types of tracks so far in 2024. If Busch can avoid getting caught up in "The Big One," expect to see him near the front of the pack when it counts.

Las Vegas (October 27th)

Busch was running solidly in the top five at Las Vegas in March, but issues on pit road caused him to finish in 26th place. He has won at this track before, and his team has shown improved speed at intermediate tracks recently. The intangibles are also in his favor, as Las Vegas is his home track, making it the perfect place for him to end his longest winless drought of his career.

Phoenix (November 10th)

Phoenix was not kind to Busch in March, as he spun multiple times and finished in 22nd place. However, don't underestimate the power of motivation. If Busch fails to win in the next five weeks, he will enter Phoenix on a 56-race winless streak, with only this one-mile championship venue left to keep his streak alive. Busch is extremely dangerous from a talent perspective, but when he is motivated, he reaches new levels of speed. His team may not be the favorite to win, but if any driver can pull off a surprise victory in the desert, it's Busch.
