Guenther Steiner withdraws legal action against Haas Formula 1 team

Guenther Steiner and the Haas F1 team have come to an agreement regarding their highly publicized legal dispute over the non-renewal of Steiner's contract.

Steiner, the former team principal of Haas F1, has withdrawn all accusations and dismissed any claims against the team with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be reopened. Both parties have stated that the matter has been resolved and have wished each other the best.

The 59-year-old Steiner held a prominent role with the Haas F1 team from its establishment in 2014 until 2023. However, his contract was not renewed at the end of 2023.

A familiar face on Netflix's "Drive to Survive" documentary series, Steiner was replaced by Ayao Komatsu, the team's director of engineering based in North Carolina.

In May 2024, Steiner took legal action, claiming that Haas' popularity was largely due to his contributions. He also alleged that the team continued to use his name and likeness.
