"Dodge Reportedly Seeking Return to NASCAR Truck Series"
According to a report from The Athletic, Dodge is looking to make a comeback in the NASCAR Truck Series by 2026.
The manufacturer has submitted paperwork to NASCAR in hopes of entering the series with their Ram brand of trucks. Currently, Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota trucks are the only ones competing in the circuit.
The application is currently being reviewed and if approved, Dodge would need to make any necessary adjustments to their truck in the next few months in order to be ready for racing in 2026.
NASCAR has not commented on the matter, but The Athletic reports that Dodge previously raced in the Truck Series from 1995 to 2016, winning three manufacturers championships and two drivers championships during that time.
In addition to the Truck Series, Dodge also has a history in the Cup Series and could potentially make a return to that series later in the decade after their Truck Series entry, as reported by The Athletic.
