With only 11.4 seconds remaining in overtime, Mikhail Sergachev of the Utah Hockey Club scored the winning goal against the Vancouver Canucks in Salt Lake City on Wednesday night.

Sergachev's backhanded pass from Logan Cooley found its way under the pads of Thatcher Demko, securing the victory for Utah in a two-on-one break. This was Sergachev's second overtime winner of the season.

Clayton Keller and Dylan Guenther also contributed goals for Utah, who have now won three consecutive games. Cooley had two assists and Karel Vejmelka made 24 saves, extending Utah's point streak to six games (5-0-1).

Vancouver's Danton Heinen and Dakota Joshua also scored, with Quinn Hughes providing two assists and Demko making 28 saves. Hughes, the reigning Norris Trophy winner, now leads all NHL defensemen with 30 assists and has recorded nine multi-assist games this season.

In other NHL news, the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Dallas Stars 5-3, with William Nylander scoring two goals and Joseph Woll making 36 saves. Toronto's Nicholas Robertson, who had a goal and an assist, played against his brother Jason in front of their parents. Max Domi and Bobby McMann also scored for the Maple Leafs, despite being outshot 39-19 by Dallas.

The Florida Panthers pulled away for a 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild, with Matthew Tkachuk scoring two goals and Aaron Ekblad adding a goal and two assists. Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 26 of 27 shots, while Marco Rossi scored the lone goal for Minnesota.

Troy Terry's goal with only 26 seconds left in regulation gave the Anaheim Ducks a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. Frank Vatrano had two goals and an assist for Anaheim, while Radko Gudas had two assists. Lukas Dostal made 21 saves for the Ducks, while Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi scored for the Jets.

The Detroit Red Wings held on for a 6-4 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, with Patrick Kane scoring the go-ahead goal in the third period. J.T. Compher and Lucas Raymond each had a goal and an assist for Detroit, while Travis Konecny, Noah Cates, Ryan Poehling, and Owen Tippett scored for Philadelphia.
