Maple Leafs extend 1-year deal to F Connor Dewar

The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed Connor Dewar, a forward, to a one-year contract worth $1.18 million on Tuesday.

At 25 years old, Dewar scored one goal and had four assists while playing an average of 12:54 of ice time in 17 games for Toronto last season. He was acquired by the Maple Leafs from Minnesota on March 8. In the previous season, he recorded 10 goals and four assists in 57 games for the Wild.

Dewar also contributed with an assist in six playoff games for Toronto during the first round against the Boston Bruins.

In the 2018 draft, Dewar was selected by the Wild in the third round. Throughout his career, he has a total of 19 goals and 24 assists in 190 games, playing for the Wild (2021-24) and the Maple Leafs.
