"Hurricanes' Forward Andrei Svechnikov to Miss 4-Game Away Stretch"

"Hurricanes' Forward Andrei Svechnikov Absent for 4-Game Away Series"

Carolina Hurricanes winger Andrei Svechnikov will be absent from the team's upcoming four-game road trip due to an undisclosed injury.

According to head coach Rod Brind'Amour, Svechnikov's absence is a precautionary measure.

Last month, the 25-year-old missed seven games due to an upper-body injury.

So far this season, Svechnikov has recorded 45 points (19 goals, 26 assists) in 66 games, ranking him fourth on the team.

The Hurricanes (46-24-4, 96 points) have already secured a spot in the playoffs and will begin their road trip on Friday night in Detroit. They will also face off against Boston, Buffalo, and Washington.

Svechnikov's earliest possible return would be on April 12 for a home game against the New York Rangers. The regular season will end on April 17 for the Hurricanes.
