'Golden Knights Extend Contract with F Keegan Kolesar'
The Vegas Golden Knights have inked a new deal with forward Keegan Kolesar, extending his contract for three years and $7.5 million until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Kolesar, who is currently 27 years old, has been a part of the Vegas team for six seasons now, having been acquired on June 24, 2017 from Columbus in exchange for a second-round pick in that year's draft.
In the 29 games he has played this season, Kolesar has recorded a total of 11 points, with seven goals and four assists. He also holds the top spot on the team for hits, with a total of 90.
Throughout his entire NHL career, Kolesar has played all 304 games with the Golden Knights, and has accumulated a total of 84 points, with 33 goals and 51 assists.
He is currently just one goal shy of his career high, having scored eight goals in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, each in over 70 games played.
