O'Reilly recorded a goal and two assists, while Jordan Oesterle and Jonathan Marchessault each had a goal and an assist. Juuse Saros made 29 saves for the Predators, who also got goals from Jakub Vrana and Justin Barron, with Filip Forsberg contributing two assists.
Tyler Seguin returned to the lineup for Dallas after missing 58 games due to a hip injury, and assisted on Mason Marchment's goal less than 20 seconds into the game. However, Jason Robertson, who has 80 points this season, left the game in the second period with a lower-body injury.
