Avalanche Trade for Senators' G Kevin Mandolese

The Colorado Avalanche obtained the rights to restricted free agent goalie Kevin Mandolese from the Ottawa Senators on Monday.

In addition, the Avalanche were given a 2026 seventh-round pick in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the same draft.

Mandolese, who is 23 years old, started three games for Ottawa in the 2022-23 season and had a record of 1-2-0 with a 3.29 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.

The native of Quebec, who was selected by the Senators in the sixth round of the 2018 draft, has a career record of 28-28-5 with a 3.30 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 66 games played for the AHL's Belleville Senators.
