"Absence of Predators' Coach Andrew Brunette (personal) Causes Team Disruption"

Nashville Predators head coach Andrew Brunette is currently away from the team as he tends to personal matters.

During Saturday's practice, assistant coach Todd Richards took charge of the team's on-ice activities.

According to The Tennessean, Richards will also assume head coaching duties on Sunday if Brunette is unable to attend the Predators' home game against the Montreal Canadiens.

At 51 years old, Brunette has led the Predators to a record of 27-41-8 this season.

As a finalist for the 2024 Jack Adams Award, Brunette boasts a coaching record of 125-89-19 with the Florida Panthers (2021-22) and the Predators.
