Canada's Sportsnet will broadcast every game of the first season of TGL, the upcoming virtual golf league led by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's company TMRW Sports.

The Canadian media contract was announced on Tuesday and comes a few months before the start of the TGL season on January 7, 2025.

"Combining the top names in golf with a unique format during prime time makes this an exceptional broadcast property," stated Sportsnet president Greg Sansone.

Originally scheduled to begin in 2024, TGL was delayed due to storm damage at the specially-built facility in Palm Beach, Florida.

The plan is for games to be played in prime time on Mondays or Tuesdays to accommodate players' PGA Tour schedules. After 15 regular season games, the league will hold semifinals and finals. All games will take place at the Florida facility, which features a large screen and a customizable green complex.

ESPN holds the American television rights and will air games on both ESPN and ESPN+.
