Three of the four members of Majesticks GC hail from England, providing the team with a distinct advantage at LIV Golf UK, set to commence on Friday.

Arguably, no player holds a greater edge than Sam Horsfield, who is intimately familiar with JCB Golf and Country Club, the Rocester, England course where the tournament will take place.

\"I am a member here. I live just five minutes away,\" Horsfield stated. \"So when I am in the UK, this is where I practice and play. I am definitely looking forward to it.\"

The Majesticks have yet to secure a victory in a weekly LIV team event, but perhaps this week will be different for Horsfield, Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, and Sweden's Henrik Stenson. The gallery will undoubtedly be filled with Brits rooting for their success.

\"This is undoubtedly our home event, and even more so for me, I suppose, as I am from the Midlands, and I grew up just an hour and 20 minutes away,\" Westwood remarked. \"My phone has been quite busy for the past month or so with people asking for tickets. It will be enjoyable to play in front of friends, family, and people from this area of England.\"

\"It is always special to compete in the UK. Golf enthusiasts are extremely knowledgeable. They are fantastic fans. I am sure they are eager to come out and witness some world-class golf.\"

Poulter also acknowledged the potential boost from the partisan crowd.

\"Whenever we have the opportunity to play in front of home supporters, and especially this week with the ticket capacity expanded to 14,000, it will be amazing for us,\" Poulter expressed. \"We do not play enough golf over here, so when we do, it is quite special.\"

Horsfield can provide his teammates with some insight into what to expect from the course, which the players anticipate will be challenging.

\"This week will be a tough test. The layout of the golf course is good, but it will be a formidable challenge, and we are eagerly anticipating it.\"

Westwood acknowledged that the challenge will be formidable.

\"It appears quite tricky to me. There are a lot of undulations out there. The fairways feel quite narrow. The rough is certainly punishing if you stray off the fairways,\" he remarked.

\"Unless you have control of your ball, it will be difficult to get close to the pins, I believe. There is a slight breeze in the forecast, not too much. As we know, English conditions can change within about half an hour.

\"I mean, I played the front nine yesterday, and I thought three 69s might be a good score, but I have not seen the back nine. The volatility is there. There is quite a bit of water involved. Nobody knows what to expect. That is the exciting part.\"

Cameron Smith emerged victorious in the individual event last July when LIV Golf UK was held at the Centurion Club in London. Dustin Johnson's 4Aces claimed the team event, with the Majesticks finishing in fifth place.

\"We have yet to reach the podium this year,\" Westwood mentioned. \"We have come in fourth a couple of times, been close. So it would be nice to be sipping champagne on Sunday night.\"
