On Wednesday, Cameron Young pulled out of the World Wide Technology Championship in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Young, who holds the 33rd spot in the Official World Golf Ranking, was the top-ranked player in the El Cardonal at Diamante Cabo San Lucas field.

The PGA Tour did not disclose the reason for Young's withdrawal, and he was replaced by Sean O'Hair.

At 27 years old, Young was scheduled to make his first appearance since the BMW Championship and was also aiming for his first tour victory. He has recorded six top-10 finishes this season.
