Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will be teaming up with another young superstar athlete, Nelly Korda, for her venture into golf, according to a report by Golfweek on Wednesday.

Clark, who was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year and selected for the All-WNBA first team, recently committed to participate in the pro-am competition at The Annika driven by Gainbridge on November 13th at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.

An avid golfer, Clark will be playing nine holes with Korda, who is currently the world's top-ranked player and made a splash on the LPGA Tour this season with six wins, including five consecutive starts. Korda, a two-time winner of the Pelican, has recently suffered a neck injury during practice and has had to withdraw from two tournaments on the tour's Asia swing.

In addition to playing in the 18-hole pro-am with World Golf Hall of Fame member Annika Sorenstam, the tournament host and a 10-time major winner, Clark is also an ambassador for Gainbridge.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play in the pro-am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam's name on it," Clark stated in a press release on October 7th.

Clark, who is 22 years old, previously played in the pro-am at the John Deere Classic in July 2023 alongside PGA Tour players Zach Johnson and Ludvig Aberg.

On the day before the pro-am, Clark will also be a panelist at the Women's Leadership Summit, which will take place at the tournament site from November 14th to 17th. Other ambassadors for Gainbridge include Sorenstam and tennis legend Billie Jean King.

"I am grateful for Gainbridge's support of women's sports, as shown through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King, and Parity Week," Clark expressed in the press release. "I am excited to see all the LPGA players on the driving range, be a part of the Women's Leadership Summit, and, of course, tee it up in the pro-am with Annika."
