"Update: Giants' Offensive Tackle Andrew Thomas (foot) Potentially Out for Remainder of Season"

The New York Giants' offensive tackle, Andrew Thomas, is dealing with a severe foot injury that may require surgery to end his season, according to multiple media reports on Tuesday night.

According to NFL Network, Thomas traveled to Charlotte, N.C., to consult with a foot specialist and determine the best course of treatment for his injury.

The 25-year-old has started in all six of the Giants' games this season, but sustained the injury during their 17-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at home on Sunday.

Thomas has played in 61 games (with 60 starts) in his five seasons in the NFL, all with the Giants. He was recognized as a second-team All-Pro in 2022.

The Giants selected Thomas with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 draft from the University of Georgia.
