"Seahawks' Running Back Kenneth Walker III Injured Ankle, Will Not Play Against Bears"

"Seattle Running Back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) Inactive Against Chicago Bears"

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III has been deemed ineligible for Thursday's matchup against the Chicago Bears as a result of an ankle ailment.

Walker made his return to the field on Sunday after sitting out two games due to a calf injury, but unfortunately suffered an ankle injury during the Seahawks' 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Zach Charbonnet will be responsible for carrying the majority of the workload in the backfield for the Seahawks (8-7), who are currently on a two-game losing streak heading into their game against the Bears (4-11).

Seattle is in a must-win situation. Even if they are able to defeat Chicago and the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18, they may still miss out on a spot in the playoffs due to the strength-of-victory tiebreaker.

At 24 years old, Walker leads the Seahawks in carries (153) and rushing yards (573), and has scored seven rushing touchdowns this season.

Charbonnet, 23, has the most rushing touchdowns on the team with eight, and has accumulated 106 carries for 453 yards.

Seattle has also declared tight end Brady Russell (foot) and safety K'Von Wallace (ankle) as unavailable for Thursday's game.

The Bears will be without defensive backs Elijah Hicks (ankle/foot) and Tarvarius Moore (knee), running back Travis Homer (hamstring), and offensive lineman Teven Jenkins (calf).
