Report: Cards' Klayton Adams to interview for Cowboys OC

"Article: Klayton Adams Considered for Dallas Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Position"

According to NFL Network, Klayton Adams, the offensive line coach for the Arizona Cardinals, is scheduled to have an in-person meeting with the Dallas Cowboys for their available offensive coordinator position on Friday.

Earlier this week, Adams had a virtual interview with the Cowboys. This position became available when their previous offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer, was promoted to head coach.

Schottenheimer, who did not have play-calling duties under former head coach Mike McCarthy, is expected to take on that role for the Cowboys in 2025.

Adams, who is 41 years old, spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals. Prior to that, he worked for four years with the Indianapolis Colts as an assistant offensive line coach (2019-2020) and tight ends coach (2021-2022).

During Adams' tenure, the Cardinals ranked seventh in the league in rushing yards and 11th in total offense in 2024.

ESPN reported on Thursday that Ken Dorsey is also being considered for the Cowboys' offensive coordinator position.

Dorsey, who is 43 years old, was recently fired from his role as offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns after just one season.
