Hip Injury Sidelines Rams' Safety Taylor Rapp for Game Against Ravens
Taylor Rapp, a safety for the Buffalo Bills, left Sunday's AFC divisional playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens due to a hip injury.
The injury occurred in the second quarter and Rapp was initially considered questionable to return. However, he was later ruled out in the third quarter.
Rapp sustained the injury while on the ground after being hit by his teammate Damar Hamlin. He was visibly in pain and had to be carted off the field with 6:13 remaining in the second quarter.
In the first quarter, the 27-year-old Rapp intercepted a pass from Baltimore's Lamar Jackson. He also recorded two tackles during the game.
During the regular season, Rapp had 82 tackles and two interceptions. He is currently in his second season with the Bills after spending his first four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. He was selected by the Rams in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft after playing college football at Washington.
