"Pro Bowl Games to Feature Trivia and Tug-of-War Competitions"

The 2025 Pro Bowl Skills competition, announced by the NFL on Thursday, will include a variety of events such as dodgeball, tug-of-war, and a trivia contest.

Instead of the traditional Pro Bowl game, AFC and NFC players selected for the Pro Bowl will compete in a 7-on-7 flag football game on Feb. 2 in Orlando, Fla. However, the weekend will also be filled with plenty of fun and games.

Kicking off on Jan. 30, the events will begin with Passing the Test, a combination of passing accuracy and player trivia. The Pro Bowl quarterbacks will have 40 seconds to hit as many targets as they can, while also answering five questions about current players. Each correct answer will earn them an additional 10 seconds to score points by hitting targets.

Other competitions throughout the weekend include Satisfying Catches, where a receiver, tight end, and defensive back from each conference will navigate an obstacle course featuring football moves; a Relay Race, where players must complete a 40-yard dash and hand off the football to a teammate; and dodgeball, a three-round tournament between six teams representing the AFC and NFC.

The Great Football Race will feature six players from each conference competing in a relay-style race with five challenges, including a sled push. And in the Tug-of-War, five players from each side will try to pull the opposing team into a foam pit. The competition will be best-of-three.
