"Practice Sees Return of Cardinals' WR Marvin Harrison Jr. After Concussion"

Arizona Cardinals newcomer wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is anticipated to resume practicing on Thursday, just five days after he was taken out of a game against the Green Bay Packers due to a concussion.

\"Marvin is currently going through the concussion protocol, but he will be out there today,\" stated Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon on Thursday.

Harrison, who is 22 years old, will participate in practice without any contact as the Arizona team (2-4) gets ready for a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) on Monday night.

Gannon also verified a report from Wednesday that defensive lineman Bilal Nichols was put on the injured reserve list and disclosed that the player, who is in his seventh year, will be out for the rest of the season after experiencing a stinger in two consecutive games.

During the game against the Packers, Harrison appeared dazed after a hit in the first half and then went down again before exiting the field. He did not make any receptions during the game.

In the six games he has played this season, the fourth overall pick from Ohio State has caught 17 passes for 279 yards and scored four touchdowns.

Nichols, who is 28 years old, is in his first season with Arizona after signing as a free agent in March. He has made 10 tackles in six games, five of which he started.

The Chicago Bears selected Nichols in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has played in 100 games for Chicago (2018-21), the Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23), and Arizona, and has recorded 248 tackles, 14 sacks, 27 tackles for loss, 45 quarterback hits, one interception, and five fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
