Practice Absences for Eagles' Defensive Tandem Jalen Carter and Darius Slay
The Philadelphia Eagles were without defensive tackle Jalen Carter and cornerback Darius Slay during Thursday's practice due to injuries.
Carter, who was previously healthy, sat out with a shoulder injury. Slay, who had a knee injury on Wednesday, was limited and ultimately missed Thursday's session.
Tight end Dallas Goedert and offensive tackle Jordan Mailata also missed practice for the second consecutive day with hamstring injuries. Mailata will not play in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Cornerback Eli Ricks was a new addition to the injury report with a groin injury after participating in Wednesday's practice.
Linebacker Oren Burks, defensive tackles Byron Young and Milton Williams were all limited in practice due to groin, hamstring, and ankle injuries, respectively.
