Nelson Agholor, Ravens wide receiver, declared unfit to play against Steelers
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor will not be playing in Saturday's crucial AFC North game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Agholor was present on the sidelines for practice on Thursday, but was unable to participate due to ongoing concussion symptoms. On Friday, the Ravens officially declared him as out for the game.
In addition, the Ravens (9-5) may also have to do without wide receiver Rashod Bateman against the Steelers (10-4). Bateman was spotted wearing a walking boot in the locker room and did not take part in practice on Thursday.
Agholor, 31, has recorded 14 catches for 231 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games this season, his second with the Ravens.
The 2015 first-round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles is currently in his 10th season in the NFL. Throughout his career, Agholor has played in 149 games (105 starts), and has accumulated 389 receptions, 4,858 yards, and 37 touchdowns with the Eagles (2015-19), Las Vegas Raiders (2020), New England Patriots (2021-22), and Ravens.
Bateman, 25, has made 38 receptions for 654 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games this season. He ranks second on the team in receiving yards, behind only Zay Flowers (916), and is one touchdown catch away from tying tight end Mark Andrews' total of eight.
