Pittsburgh Steelers' lead running back Najee Harris was absent from practice on Wednesday due to a rib injury.

His teammate, Cordarrelle Patterson, also did not participate in practice due to an ankle injury.

Last week, Harris, who is 26 years old, had his best performance of the season. He achieved his first 100-yard rushing game, averaging 7.6 yards per carry and scoring his first touchdown of the season in a 32-13 victory against Las Vegas. He totaled 106 rushing yards and 16 receiving yards.

In six starts, Harris has accumulated 376 rushing yards and 14 receptions for 135 yards.

Jaylen Warren has only rushed for 61 yards in four games without any starts, while Patterson has rushed for 92 yards in four games with one start.

Other Steelers players who were unable to practice due to injuries include safety Damontae Kazee (ankle), edge rusher Nick Herbig (hamstring), and center Zach Frazier (ankle).

On Sunday night, the Steelers (4-2) will face the New York Jets (2-4) at home.
