Signal-caller Jordan Love took the initial step towards recovering from a knee injury on Wednesday, joining in practice with the Green Bay Packers for the first time since he was injured in the opening game on September 6th in Brazil.

Officially listed as a restricted participant, Love donned a sleeve that extended from above his knee to his ankle. He leaped from one leg to the other during warm-ups specific to his position and hopped on both legs during team stretching.

After practice, Packers (1-1) head coach Matt LaFleur shut down any inquiries seeking more information on Love's availability for Week 3 against the Titans in Nashville. LaFleur reiterated multiple times that "he was limited" when pressed about Love's progress and involvement on Wednesday.

"It's always fantastic to have your quarterback out there, but we'll have to see how he progresses throughout the week," LaFleur stated.

Running back Josh Jacobs was also restricted on Wednesday, but LaFleur stated there is no reason to believe Jacobs will miss Week 3.

Jacobs carried a heavy load with Love out last week, leading the Packers to a 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts with 151 rushing yards on 32 carries.

If Love is sidelined for a second consecutive game, the Packers are preparing Malik Willis to start once again. He threw his first NFL touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks and completed 12 of 14 passes with 41 rushing yards on six carries against Indianapolis.

Willis was selected by the Titans in the third round (86th overall) of the 2022 draft.
