The Washington Commanders acquired four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore from the New Orleans Saints before the trade deadline Tuesday.

The Commanders stated that the trade was official, pending a physical for Lattimore.

Washington will also receive a fifth-round 2025 NFL Draft pick from the Saints in exchange for third-, fourth- and sixth-round selections in the same draft.

Lattimore, who is currently dealing with a hamstring injury, has recorded 30 tackles in seven games (all starts) so far this season.

The 28-year-old Lattimore has accumulated 15 interceptions, 405 tackles, and 88 passes defensed in 97 starts since being selected by the Saints with the 11th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2017.
