"Ken Dorsey Being Considered for Offensive Coordinator Position with Cowboys: Report"
According to ESPN, Ken Dorsey is being considered as a potential candidate for the open offensive coordinator position with the Dallas Cowboys.
The position became available when former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was promoted to head coach.
Under former head coach Mike McCarthy, Schottenheimer did not have play-calling responsibilities, but is expected to take on that role for the Cowboys in 2025.
Dorsey, who is 43 years old, was recently fired from his position as offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns after just one season.
The Browns' offense struggled due to injuries and inconsistent quarterback play, resulting in an NFL-low average of 15.2 points per game. Dorsey took over play-calling duties midway through the season.
This is not the first time Dorsey has been let go from a coordinator position. In 2023, he was fired by the Buffalo Bills after just 10 games, with some believing that the offense led by quarterback Josh Allen was not meeting expectations.
