"Bills' Opponent Ravens' WR Zay Flowers Unavailable Due to Knee Injury"

"Ravens Wide Receiver Zay Flowers (knee) Not Playing Against Bills"

Baltimore wide receiver Zay Flowers is not playing in the Ravens' matchup against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC divisional round on Sunday evening.

The Ravens had listed Flowers as doubtful for the playoff game due to a knee injury, but head coach John Harbaugh expressed some optimism on Friday that the second-year receiver might have "a chance" to take the field.

Flowers was absent from practice all week after missing last week's game and sitting out Baltimore's wild-card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on January 11th.

He sustained the knee injury during Baltimore's 35-10 win against the Cleveland Browns in the regular-season finale on January 4th.

Chosen for his first Pro Bowl, Flowers led the Ravens this season with 74 receptions for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns.

Flowers, who is 24 years old, started all 16 games as a rookie in 2023, recording 77 receptions for 858 yards and five touchdowns, as well as eight rushes for 56 yards and another score. The Ravens drafted him with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from Boston College.

The Ravens' other inactive players are running back Rasheen Ali, linebacker Adisa Isaac, center Nick Samac, nose tackle Josh Tupou, and safeties Beau Brade and Marcus Williams.

The Bills' inactive players include wide receiver Jalen Virgil, defensive tackle DeWayne Carter, cornerbacks Kaiir Elam and Brandon Codrington, offensive linemen Sedrick Van-Pran Granger and Ryan Van Demark, and emergency third quarterback Mike White.
