Falcons reinstate primary cornerback Dee Alford

The Atlanta Falcons renewed their contract with cornerback Dee Alford on Monday. The details of the agreement were not disclosed.

At the age of 27, Alford recorded a career-best 83 tackles, along with one sack and one forced fumble, in all 16 games of the 2024 season, starting in 11 of them.

During his three-year tenure with the Falcons, he has accumulated 149 tackles, defended 24 passes, and made one interception in 48 games, starting in 16 of them.

Although he went undrafted in 2020, Alford was part of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers team that won the Grey Cup in 2021 in the Canadian Football League.
