"Eagles' Brandon Graham and Chiefs' Skyy Moore Resume Practice"
The Philadelphia Eagles initiated the practice window on Thursday for defensive end Brandon Graham and tight end CJ Uzomah.
Graham, a team leader in his 15th year with the Eagles, was put on injured reserve on Nov. 26 after tearing a triceps muscle in a Week 12 victory against the Los Angeles Rams.
The 36-year-old Graham had remained optimistic about a potential return for Super Bowl LIX, where the Eagles will face the two-time defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
During his WIP radio show on Monday, he stated that he is taking things "one day at a time" leading up to the Super Bowl LVII rematch.
"I am just thrilled to be here, thrilled for this team, and thrilled for this moment," he expressed.
Graham holds the record for most games played with the Eagles at 206 and ranks third in franchise history with 76.5 sacks. This season, he recorded 3.5 sacks, seven quarterback hits, and 20 tackles in 11 games (one start).
He was a key player in the Eagles' 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, making a strip-sack of Tom Brady in the fourth quarter to secure the team's first Lombardi Trophy.
Uzomah, 32, was placed on IR on Jan. 1 due to an abdominal injury sustained in a Week 17 win against the Dallas Cowboys. He appeared in seven games for the Eagles this season but did not make any catches.
Throughout his career with the Cincinnati Bengals (2015-21), New York Jets (2022-23), and Eagles, Uzomah has made 192 receptions for 1,881 yards and 16 touchdowns in 113 games (85 starts).
On Thursday, the Eagles also made a change to their practice squad, signing running back Lew Nichols and releasing tight end Nick Muse.
