Report: Eagles WR A.J. Brown could miss 'a couple of weeks'
Philadelphia Eagles standout wide receiver A.J. Brown is getting ready to be absent for "a few weeks" due to his hamstring injury, as reported by ESPN on Monday night.
Brown sustained the injury during practice on Friday, experiencing tightness in his hamstring that ultimately kept him out of Monday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons. While he doesn't believe the issue is severe, he anticipates missing the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints at the very least.
During the Eagles' 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, quarterback Jalen Hurts targeted Brown a team-leading 10 times. Brown made five receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown.
At 27 years old, Brown is currently in his third season with Philadelphia after spending three seasons with the Tennessee Titans (2019-2021). In his 78 career games (70 starts), he has recorded 384 catches for 6,066 yards and 44 touchdowns.
