Colorado DB/WR Travis Hunter exits with apparent shoulder injury
Colorado's standout dual-threat player Travis Hunter exited Saturday evening's home matchup against Kansas State in the second quarter with an apparent shoulder ailment and was uncertain to return, as reported by ESPN.
Hunter, who serves as both a cornerback and wide receiver for the Buffaloes, headed to the locker room with 5:18 remaining in the second quarter and did not reappear for the remainder of the first half. He participated in 44 out of 45 plays.
The junior, who is in his second year with Colorado, recorded three catches for 26 yards on Saturday. He began the game with 46 receptions for 561 yards.
Hunter tallied one solo tackle on Saturday, adding to his 15 solo or assisted tackles prior to the game. He also boasts two interceptions, three passes defended, and one forced fumble this season.
