According to ESPN, it is unlikely that Kadyn Proctor, the left tackle for Alabama, will play in Saturday's game against South Florida.

The 6-foot-7, 369-pound sophomore hurt his left shoulder during warmups before last week's game and was unable to participate in the No. 4 Crimson Tide's 63-0 victory over Western Kentucky.

Earlier this week, head coach Kalen DeBoer stated that Proctor's injury is more of a day-to-day concern rather than a week-to-week issue.

Proctor was a highly-touted recruit in the Class of 2023, earning a five-star rating and being ranked as the top tackle and fifth-best player overall in the country by 247Sports.

He started in every game for Alabama last season and received All-Freshman recognition in the Southeastern Conference.

After the 2023 season, Proctor transferred to Iowa, but ultimately returned to Alabama after only a few months with the Hawkeyes' program.
