Trey Kaufman-Renn achieved a personal best of 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the 13th ranked Purdue to an 87-78 victory against the 2nd ranked Alabama in a nonconference matchup on Friday night in West Lafayette, Ind.
Braden Smith contributed 17 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds while Fletcher Loyer also added 17 points for the Boilermakers (4-0). C.J. Cox scored nine of his 11 points during a crucial run for Purdue in the second half.
Labaron Philon scored 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting before fouling out for the Crimson Tide (3-1). Mark Sears had 15 points and six assists, Grant Nelson had 12 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out, and Latrell Wrightsell Jr. scored 11 points for Alabama.
Purdue shot 49.2 percent from the field, including 9 of 16 (56.3 percent) from beyond the arc, while extending their home winning streak to 21 games. The Boilermakers only committed three turnovers.

Khalif Battle led the way with 21 points as six Gonzaga players scored in double figures in a dominant win over UMass Lowell in Spokane, Wash.
Nolan Hickman added 14 points for Gonzaga (3-0). The Bulldogs shot 41 of 76 from the field (53.9 percent) while holding UMass Lowell to 18 of 50 (36 percent) shooting.
Quinton Mincey led UMass Lowell (2-1) with 10 points. Martin Somerville, Max Brooks, and Cam Morris III each scored nine points.

Graduate transfer John Tonje had a career-high 41 points as the Badgers held off a second-half comeback by the Wildcats to remain undefeated in a nonconference game in Madison, Wis.
Tonje shot 8 of 14 from the field, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, and was 21 of 22 from the free throw line. John Blackwell added 14 points and Max Klesmit had 13 for the Badgers (4-0), who made 41 of 47 free throws.
Jaden Bradley scored 22 points, Trey Townsend had 17, and KJ Lewis added 15 for Arizona (2-1), who had only allowed 108 points in their first two wins.

Matt Rogers scored 15 points and reserve Elijah Stephens added 12 points for the Eagles (1-3), who are now 0-3 in road games.

Simas Lukosius and Jizzle James each scored 19 points to lead the Bearcats to a win over the Colonels.
Lukosius has been one of the top shooters in the country, making 5 of 7 shots on Friday and improving to 10 of 14 for the season. As a team, Cincinnati (3-0) made 11 of 27 (40.7 percent) from beyond the arc in the blowout win.
