Brice Williams tallied a game-high 27 points, including the final eight in overtime, as the Cornhuskers defeated No. 18 Illinois 80-74 on Thursday in Lincoln, Neb.
Williams broke a 72-72 tie with a pull-up jumper at the 2:28 mark, followed by a layup at 1:44. He then sank a baseline jumper with 43 seconds left and made both free throws in a one-and-one situation with 26.2 seconds remaining.
Connor Essegian contributed 14 points off the bench for Nebraska (13-8, 3-7 Big Ten), ending a six-game losing streak and securing their first win against the Fighting Illini in 10 games.
Kasparas Jakucionis recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds for Illinois (14-7, 6-5). However, their 35.6% shooting from the field and 23.8% from 3-point range (10 of 42) hindered their performance despite a 58-42 rebounding advantage.
UCLA 78, No. 16 Oregon 52
Eric Dailey Jr. led the Bruins to a convincing victory over the Ducks in Los Angeles with 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting.
Tyler Bilodeau and Dylan Andrews each scored 15 points for UCLA (16-6, 7-4 Big Ten), who extended their winning streak to five games. Dailey, Bilodeau, and Andrews all made three 3-pointers.
Nate Bittle had 13 points and Keeshawn Barthelemy added 12 for Oregon (16-5, 5-5), who have lost three of their last four games. TJ Bamba also contributed 11 points, but the Ducks posted their lowest point total of the season.

Dain Dainja's 19 points and 10 rebounds helped the Tigers hold off the Green Wave in New Orleans.
PJ Carter and Colby Rogers each added 14 points for Memphis (17-4, 7-1 American Athletic Conference), who have won four straight games and eight of their last nine.
Rowan Brumbaugh scored 19 points and Kaleb Banks had 14 for Tulane (11-10, 5-3).
