Tamar Bates recorded a season-best 29 points for Missouri to ignite a 76-67 upset against visiting No. 1 Kansas on Sunday in Columbia, Mo.

Mark Mitchell contributed 17 points for the Tigers (8-1), while Anthony Robinson II added 11 points as Missouri defeated its "Border War" rival for the first time since February 2012. Robinson and Bates both tallied five steals, as the Tigers forced 22 turnovers from Kansas.

Josh Gray also had a strong performance with seven points and 10 rebounds for Missouri, which saw its 24-point lead reduced to two before pulling away in the end. This win marked Missouri's eighth victory of the season, matching their total from the previous season.

Hunter Dickinson led Kansas (7-2) with 19 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to secure a win for the team. David Coit scored 14 points for the Jayhawks, followed by Dajuan Harris Jr.'s 13 points and KJ Adams Jr.'s 11 points.

No. 2 Auburn 98, Richmond 54

Miles Kelly and Tahaad Pettiford both scored 15 points as the Tigers dominated the visiting Spiders.

Auburn (8-1) bounced back from a disappointing game against ninth-ranked Duke on Wednesday, with six players scoring in double figures. Kelly and Pettiford combined for 8 of 15 shots and each made four 3-pointers. The Tigers maintained a double-digit lead for most of the game.

Mikkel Tyne led Richmond (4-5) with 16 points, but the team struggled to keep up with Auburn's strong offense. Dusan Neskovic added 12 points and Delonnie Hunt contributed 10 points, but the duo shot a combined 5 of 24 as Richmond finished with a 27.1 shooting percentage.

No. 6 Iowa State 100, Jackson State 58

Curtis Jones came off the bench and scored 19 points, leading the Cyclones to a victory over the Tigers in Ames, Iowa.

Jones made 6 of 12 shots from the field and 5 of 10 from beyond the arc for Iowa State (7-1). Milan Momcilovic also had a strong performance with 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including a 4-for-6 mark from 3-point range.

Dorian McMillian scored 20 points for Jackson State (0-10), while Juan Reyna III finished with 15 points and a team-high six assists.

No. 8 Purdue 83, Maryland 78

Braden Smith led the Boilermakers with 24 points and 10 assists, helping the team secure a win against the visiting Terrapins in Big Ten play in West Lafayette, Ind.

Smith made five 3-pointers and was 4-for-5 in the second half, leading Purdue (8-2, 1-1) to their first conference win after losing to Penn State on Thursday.

Derik Queen finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds for Maryland (8-2, 1-1), while Ja'Kobi Gillespie added 18 points. The Terrapins had won five straight games, including a dominating 83-59 win over Ohio State on Wednesday.

No. 9 Duke 76, Louisville 65

Cooper Flagg scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Blue Devils, leading the team to a comeback win against the host Cardinals.

Duke (7-2, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) trailed by as much as 30-16 in the first half, but managed to rally and secure the win. Flagg, who fouled out in the final minute, was one of four Blue Devils to score in double figures. Tyrese Proctor added 13 points, Kon Knueppel had 12, and James finished with 11.

Terrence Edwards Jr. led Louisville (5-4, 0-1) with 21 points, while Reyne Smith added 13 points and freshman Khani Rooths posted a season-high 10 points and six rebounds. Louisville only had seven players on the court due to several season-ending injuries.
