"Duke Welcomes Top-Rated Duo, the Boozer Twins, as 5-Star Recruits"

"Duke to Welcome 5-Star Recruits, the Boozer Brothers"

Talented siblings Cameron and Cayden Boozer, both rated five stars, are following in their father's footsteps and committing to Duke.

The fraternal twins, aged 17, from Columbus High School in Miami, announced their decision to join Duke's 2025 recruiting class on Friday. Their father, Duke alumni Carlos Boozer, couldn't be prouder of their hard work and dedication.

Cameron, a 6-foot-9 power forward, and Cayden, a 6-foot-5 point guard, also considered offers from Miami and Florida before ultimately choosing Duke.

\"I'm proud of them. They've worked tirelessly for this moment,\" said Carlos Boozer in an interview with ESPN. \"I'm thrilled that they decided to play together in college, which is incredible. They complement each other perfectly and made the best decision for themselves. Their mother and I couldn't be more proud. It's going to be an exciting journey.\"

Carlos Boozer, who played for 13 seasons in the NBA and was a two-time All-Star, won a national championship with Duke in 2001.

Cameron, ranked as the nation's second-best recruit in the 247Sports composite, has been named Florida Mr. Basketball twice and was also named the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2023.

The talented brothers have won three consecutive state championships in Florida.

Both Cameron and Cayden have also represented USA Basketball, winning gold medals at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Turkey in 2024 and the FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Mexico in 2023.
