"Darius Acuff Jr. Commits to Arkansas as 5-Star Recruit"
Darius Acuff Jr., who has been given a five-star rating, is considered the top point guard and fourth best prospect in the Class of 2025 according to 247Sports. He officially committed to play for John Calipari at Arkansas on Friday.
Calipari, who departed from Kentucky to join Arkansas in April, has successfully secured his first 2025 recruit for the Razorbacks after signing a five-year contract worth $7 million annually.
Acuff, who made his decision public on YouTube, ultimately chose Arkansas over Kansas and Michigan. The 6-3, 180-pound player from Detroit is also a composite five-star recruit, according to 247Sports.

In late June, Acuff had narrowed down his options to Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan, and UConn, but ultimately eliminated the two-time defending national champions before announcing his commitment on Friday.
