Auburn Unanimously Ranked First in Latest Top 25 Poll
Auburn is the undisputed top-ranked team in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Monday, while Michigan State and Houston both made significant jumps into the top 10.
The Tigers (17-1) received all 62 first-place votes and are followed by Duke (16-2), Iowa State (15-2), and fellow SEC teams Alabama (15-3) and Florida (16-2) in the top five.
Tennessee (16-2) remains at No. 6, with the Cougars (14-3) and Spartans (16-2) close behind at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively. Kentucky (14-4) and Marquette (15-3) round out the top 10, with Marquette dropping three spots from last week's ranking.
Louisville (14-5) returns to the poll for the first time in four years at No. 25, while St. John's (16-3) reaches its highest ranking since December 2014 at No. 20. Missouri (No. 22) and West Virginia (No. 23) also re-enter the poll.
Gonzaga, Georgia, Baylor, and Utah State all dropped out of the top 25.
