Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon departed Monday night's home game against the Toronto Raptors due to a strain in his right calf and will not be returning.

Gordon left the court and made his way to the locker room on his own with 7:44 remaining in the first quarter. He was initially considered questionable but was eventually ruled out during halftime.

Prior to his departure, Gordon managed to score three points and provide an assist in just four minutes of play.

The 12-year veteran, currently in his fifth season with Denver, has been averaging 17.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in six games this season.

Denver was already dealing with the absence of star guard Jamal Murray (concussion protocol), who missed his second consecutive game on Monday after sustaining an injury on Friday.
