Tim Hardaway Jr. recorded a season-high 32 points as the Detroit Pistons secured their first winning season in nine years by defeating the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers 133-122 on Friday night.

It has been six years since the Pistons (42-32) last posted a winning season, with their last one being in 2015-16 when they finished 44-38. This victory also ended a 12-game losing streak against the Cavaliers, with their last win against them being on Feb. 24, 2022.

Malik Beasley contributed 19 points, while Ausar Thompson had 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Dennis Schroder also had a strong performance with 17 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 38 points, while Darius Garland added 21. Unfortunately, Pistons All-Star Cade Cunningham missed his third consecutive game due to a left calf contusion.

The Los Angeles Clippers dominated the Brooklyn Nets with a 132-100 victory in New York. Kawhi Leonard led the way with 31 points, including 19 in the second quarter. Ivica Zubac also had a strong showing with 21 points and 12 rebounds. James Harden had 17 points and six assists for the Nets, who were outscored 79-42 in the second and third quarters.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 30 points and nine rebounds.

The Denver Nuggets routed the Utah Jazz 129-93, with Nikola Jokic recording 27 points and 14 rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. also had a strong showing with 20 points. The Jazz were led by Collin Sexton's 20 points, but they have now lost five in a row and 15 of their last 16 games.

The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled away for a 124-109 win over the Phoenix Suns, completing a four-game sweep of them during the regular season. Julius Randle led the way with 25 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. Kevin Durant had 23 points and six rebounds for the Suns.

The Golden State Warriors snapped a two-game losing streak with a 111-95 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Stephen Curry returned from injury and scored 23 points, while Jimmy Butler III added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Bruce Brown led the Pelicans with 18 points.
