Devin Booker, the All-Star guard for the Phoenix Suns, will not be playing in Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons at home due to tightness in his left groin.

The 28-year-old Booker was absent from practice on Friday, after sustaining the injury during the third quarter of their 120-111 loss to the Indiana Pacers at home.

Booker left the game with 5:18 remaining in the third quarter and was evaluated in the locker room before being ruled out. He had 17 points and six assists in 25 minutes, making 5 of 10 field-goal attempts.

There is currently no timetable for Booker's return, according to the Phoenix Suns.

\"Hopefully, it's not a serious injury,\" said Suns center Jusuf Nurkic. \"Injuries are a part of the game and we'll have to figure it out.\"

This will be Booker's first missed game of the season. He is averaging 25.1 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game.
