Nuggets and Jamal Murray Reach 4-Year, $208M Contract Extension Agreement

Denver Nuggets floor general Jamal Murray has agreed to a four-year, $208 million maximum contract extension, according to his representation as reported by ESPN on Saturday.

The lucrative extension is set to commence in the 2025-26 season and will keep Murray in a Nuggets uniform until the end of the 2028-29 campaign.

At 27 years old, Murray equaled his career-high scoring average of 21.2 points per game while also setting personal bests in assists (6.5) and 3-point percentage (42.5) in 59 games last season, all of which he started.

As the franchise's top all-time leader in 3-pointers, Murray boasts career averages of 17.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 469 games (395 starts) with the Nuggets. He was originally drafted by Denver with the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
