Milton's absence leads to cancellation of Pelicans-Magic preseason game

The preseason matchup between the Orlando Magic and New Orleans Pelicans on Friday was called off due to Hurricane Milton.

The NBA announced on Wednesday that the game will not be rescheduled.

The Magic still have two preseason games left, one on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs and one on October 18 at home against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pelicans have two remaining preseason games as well, one on Sunday against the Miami Heat and one on October 15 against the Houston Rockets.
