The Golden State Warriors' guard, Gary Payton II, has been sidelined indefinitely due to a thumb injury, as reported by ESPN on Thursday.

According to the report, Payton suffered a ligament tear in his left thumb during the team's loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

So far this season, he has been averaging 6.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 58 games (with 11 starts).
