The Atlanta Hawks' forward, Zaccharie Risacher, who was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft, will not be playing for at least another week due to a strained left adductor, according to the team's announcement on Tuesday.
Risacher has already missed three games because of this injury and the team stated that he is \"making progress in his rehabilitation and will be re-evaluated in approximately one week.\"
The 19-year-old has an average of 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in 39 games (37 starts) this season. However, his 3-point shooting percentage is only 28.1%.
The French player had one game where he scored more than 20 points, with a 33-point performance on November 6th in a victory against the New York Knicks.
Recently, Atlanta welcomed back Jalen Johnson, their second-highest scorer with an average of 19.4 points per game, after he missed five games due to shoulder inflammation.
