'Giannis Antetokounmpo leads All-NBA Cup squad'
The 2024 NBA Cup all-tournament team, announced Thursday, was anchored by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who led the Milwaukee Bucks to victory in the championship.
Antetokounmpo was unanimously selected by all 20 members of the voting panel, along with Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Bucks claimed the in-season tournament title with a 97-81 win over the Thunder on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
In Tuesday's game, Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, earning him the NBA Cup MVP award. Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 21 points.
Joining them on the all-tournament team were the Bucks' Damian Lillard (19 votes), the Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young (12), and the Houston Rockets' Alperen Sengun (six).
