The Phoenix Suns declared on Saturday that Devin Booker will not be playing in the next two games due to left groin discomfort.

Booker will not be joining the Suns for their home game against Detroit on Saturday and their game against Denver on Monday.

These will be the first games that Booker will be absent from this season.

The four-time All-Star point guard did not participate in practice on Friday after sustaining the injury during a 120-111 loss to Indiana at home on Thursday night.

He exited the game in the third quarter after scoring 17 points and providing six assists in 25 minutes.

At 28 years old, Booker is currently averaging 25.1 points and 6.4 assists per game in 26 games this season. These numbers are an improvement from his career averages in both categories (24.3 ppg, 5.1 apg).
