Experienced guard Reggie Jackson intends to join the Philadelphia 76ers after clearing waivers, according to a report from ESPN on Tuesday morning.

Details of the agreement were not revealed for Jackson, who reached a contract buyout with the Charlotte Hornets.

Last month, the Hornets acquired Jackson and three future second-round draft picks from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for cash considerations and a 2025 second-round pick.

In all 82 games last season for the Nuggets, the 34-year-old Jackson averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 assists while shooting 35.9 percent from beyond the arc.

A member of the NBA championship-winning Denver team in 2022-23, Jackson has put up averages of 12.6 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in 853 career games (529 starts) with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, and Nuggets.

The Thunder selected Jackson with the 24th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
