Landry Shamet, an unrestricted guard, has agreed to a one-year contract with the New York Knicks, according to his agent who informed ESPN on Saturday.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed by the network after their conversation with GSL Sports Group, the agency representing Shamet.

Last season, Shamet, who is 27 years old, averaged 7.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 46 games (including five starts) with the Washington Wizards.

Throughout his career, Shamet has contributed 8.7 points and has a 3-point shooting percentage of 38.4% in 348 games (97 of which he started) with the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, and Wizards.
