Breaking News: Knicks Reach Agreement with Center Ariel Hukporti on Contract Extension
The New York Knicks have reached an agreement with two-way center Ariel Hukporti, according to a report from ESPN on Monday.
The team has decided to convert the rookie to a standard two-way contract, which includes a team option for the 2025-26 season, as stated in the report.
Hukporti, who is 22 years old, has only played a total of 29 minutes in four games this season. However, he has managed to record four blocks and seven rebounds.
The 7-foot-tall player from Germany was originally drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round (58th overall) of the 2024 draft. However, he was later traded to the Knicks on draft night.
